In the 2000s, the graphite-containing residues resulting from the forging process were treated in a condensing vacuum evaporator.
After a few years of difficult use and mainly because of the increase in the production of liquid oil residues, the evaporator was replaced by regular pumping operations and onward transport to treatment facilities.
Finally, in 2014, the roundtrips of the waste trucks were replaced by the RHL-installation.
We therefore decided to donate this equipment to the Eugène DECOMBLE vocational school in Chaumont.
After overhauling, it will be used for the purpose of practical exercises.
The students will be able to practise the replacement of motors/pumps and train on switch cabinets as part of their qualification.
