Mascor

A joint venture created in 2018 in Aurangabad, India, Mascor Precisions is the result of the strategic partnership between Forges de Courcelles (49%) and the Indian group Maso Group (51%).

Specializing in hot precision forging and high-tech machining and assembly, Mascor stands out as the only supplier in India to integrate, on a single industrial site, the manufacture of its tooling, forging and CNC machining of connecting rods, as well as the associated design, testing and validation capabilities. It is a recognized supplier to the automotive, heavy-duty vehicle, agricultural and independent engine manufacturer sectors.

Through close technical collaboration with Forges de Courcelles, Mascor benefits from the transfer of advanced technologies and support from the project design phase onward.

The Maso Group, which masters hot, warm and cold forging, as well as ring rolling, generates revenue of €54 million. Backed by 800 employees and an annual production of 18,000 tonnes, it mainly supplies the automotive sector with precision forged and machined parts (gears, shafts, connecting rods, subassemblies) for customers such as Renault, Mahindra, Stellantis, Royal Enfield, Eaton…

Supported by these two centers of industrial excellence, Mascor Precisions continues to grow, expands its industrial capabilities and broadens its range of forged products, services and materials. Mascor Precisions is SIFCOR’s promise of competitive local support for its customers, while upholding its best-in-class industrial standards. Already recognized by its customers, Mascor Precisions has become in less than a decade the benchmark local partner for competitiveness, quality and service. It continues its successful responsible development and is systematically and decisively rolling out its CSR ambitions in water management and electricity consumption.
