FORGING ALLIANCES
A Group that embraces its social role
Alliances strengthen SIFCOR just as alloys strengthen metal. By fully embracing its social role, the Group cultivates its ductility and that of its stakeholders.
This ability to “transform without breaking” is driven by the challenges of strengthening European industrial sovereignty, committing to the public interest, and supporting regional development.
CHALLENGE #10
Organizing collectively to strengthen European industrial sovereignty
Industrial sovereignty is a responsibility the Group takes seriously. SIFCOR is committed to defending the retention of production tools on European soil, where it equips more than 1 in 4 vehicles and purchases 95% of its raw materials. The company’s commitment alongside professional organizations confirms this “union that makes the forge” !
Value creation
The Group is preparing a mural of Forge professions to demonstrate the value creation of this industry.
CHALLENGE #11
Committing to the public interest
At SIFCOR, commitment to the public interest is reflected in particular through support for associations. Patronage and sponsorship make it possible to build strong partnerships while aligning the Group’s values with the issues of our time. For example, the donation of 4 tons of steel to the École Française de Forge in 2024, to support the training of BTS students, contributes to this need to be beneficial to all stakeholders, starting with the youngest.
“We are proud to have contributed to bringing Trek’Rêv to life, a project that illustrates our CSR principles and our desire to turn our commitments into concrete actions, beneficial to the community and inspiring for our teams.”
JEAN-LOUIS DEGUY,
CHAIRMAN OF THE SIFCOR SUPERVISORY BOARD
CHALLENGE #12
Supporting regional development
The regions where SIFCOR operates are also areas of commitment. The Group contributes to their economic, social and environmental development at the local level and measures the impact of its actions. Prioritizing local recruitment and local purchasing reflects the care the company takes to improve the quality of life of the people of Haute-Marne and the Ardennes.
Nogentech cluster
As a member of the Nogentech cluster, Forges de Courcelles shares its experience and best practices with other organizations in the region.
FORGING ETHICS
The SIFCOR Group is committed to ensuring that its conduct is as exemplary as that of the metals used in its forges.
