Overview
The maintenance technician carries out maintenance work: preventive, corrective, improvement, and new installation work on all the company’s equipment, infrastructure, and buildings in order to ensure their performance, reliability, and safety
Technical skills
- Strong knowledge of mechanics, electricity, hydraulics and pneumatics, automation and robotics (Schneider, Siemens, Stäubli, Fanuc)
- Reading technical drawings
- Use of metrology tools
- Welding basics appreciated
- Good understanding of forge equipment operation is a plus
Certifications / CACES
- Electrical certification
- Category 3 forklift CACES
- Cherry picker CACES
- Overhead crane CACES

Main responsibilities
- Carry out preventive, corrective, and improvement maintenance interventions
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment across all areas
- Perform durable and reliable repairs
- Take part in new installations and the setup of new equipment
- Ensure follow-up on interventions (reports, stock withdrawals)
- Comply with safety procedures and rules
- Work with other departments and subcontractors when necessary
