From
November 11 to 13, STEVENIN-NOLLEVAUX and FORGES DE COURCELLES
took part in the 50th edition of the ELMIA Subcontractor trade show, in
Jönköping, in the heart of one of Sweden’s most important regions for
mechanical engineering.
This
trade show is the most important event in the industrial subcontracting
sector across Northern Europe and the most relevant for the
automotive industry.
With an
international reach, the trade show now attracts more than 11,000 visitors and
more than 900 exhibitors from 30 countries.
The
most represented sectors are: production and processing systems,
components, materials, raw and semi-finished materials,
design and development, tools and equipment, and services for
the automotive industry, precision engineering, ICT, mining,
forestry and the construction industry.
A few
themes were given particular focus this year: Smart
by Subcontractor (technological innovation, sustainability and new materials)
& Competence by Subcontractor (new skills, training and
development).
Our
group was able to take advantage of this new showcase to welcome its main Swedish clients and prospects to its stand,
and identify new contacts
through a detailed tour of the trade show’s 4 halls.
Given
the success of the event and the dynamism of the Scandinavian markets, there is no doubt that
we will reserve a place for ELMIA in our 2026 calendar.
