From November 11 to 13, STEVENIN-NOLLEVAUX and FORGES DE COURCELLES took part in the 50th edition of the ELMIA Subcontractor trade fair in Jönköping, at the heart of one of Sweden’s most important mechanical engineering regions.
This trade fair is the most important event in the industrial subcontracting sector across the entire Northern European region and the most relevant for the automotive industry.
With an international reach, the fair now attracts more than 11,000 visitors and over 900 exhibitors from 30 countries.
The most represented sectors are: production and processing systems, components, materials, raw and semi-finished materials, design and development, tools and equipment, and services for the automotive industry, precision engineering, ICT, mining, forestry, and the construction industry.
A few themes were given particular focus this year: Smart by Subcontractor (technological innovation, sustainability and new materials) & Competence by Subcontractor (new skills, training and development).
Our group was able to take advantage of this new showcase to welcome its main Swedish customers and prospects to its stand, and to identify new contacts through a detailed tour of the fair’s four halls.
Given the success of the event and the dynamism of the Scandinavian markets, there is no doubt that we will reserve a place for ELMIA in our 2026 calendar.
