Machining Manager
Discover his career path
I had the ambition of becoming a driving instructor. The driving instructor qualification is obtained through an entrance exam, with no specific diploma required. Interested in manual trades, I turned to industry while waiting to turn 20, the minimum age required to take this exam.
After earning my HND, I took the driving instructor exam, but I did not pass. I then looked for work so I could try again the following year. In February 2012, I joined Stevenin Nollevaux as a temporary machining operator.
My progression within the company was rapid. In July 2012, I signed a permanent contract as a machining operator. In October 2012, I was promoted to quality control technician, a position I held until April 2019. After that, I worked as deputy quality manager until September 2022. Since then, I have been production manager for the machining department.
Today, I am satisfied with my career path and my position at Stevenin Nollevaux.
