Environment and Energy Performance Manager

I joined Forges de Courcelles in 2015 for my final-year internship, with an exciting mission: to deploy the latest version of the ISO 14001 standard.

This first challenge confirmed my desire to contribute to the ecological transition within a company that shares strong values.

After this internship, I joined the team as an environmental technician, where I was responsible for waste management, water consumption, emissions, regulatory compliance, and certification audits. Those three years allowed me to build solid experience and establish relationships of trust with the authorities and internal teams.

Determined to go further, I expanded my scope to energy performance, working on controlling consumption, identifying potential savings, and monitoring ISO 50001 management.

In 2021, I had the opportunity to lead my first major project: the renovation of a brownfield site to accommodate a new workshop. This project, combining grant applications, studies, and construction monitoring, was a key milestone that enabled me to move into the role of Environment and Energy Performance Manager.

Still driven by innovation and sustainability, I completed training in 2023 to carry out the company’s carbon footprint assessment, in order to better visualize our trajectory and strengthen our climate commitments.

In 2025, I joined the group’s CSR committee, with the aim of creating synergies between our companies and proudly promoting our values, within a family-oriented environment that is especially important to me.

This career path reflects my commitment to a more responsible industry and my attachment to a company that gives me the means to take concrete action for the future. My ambitions for the coming years: to deepen my knowledge of biodiversity in order to integrate this essential dimension into our projects and strengthen our positive impact on the environment.
